John de Vere 
John was born about December 1335. John's father was John de Vere and his mother was Margaret de Badlesmere. His paternal grandfather was Alfonso de Vere and his paternal grandmother is Joan Foliot; his maternal grandparents were Bartholomew V de Badlesmere and Margaret de Clare. He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Robert, Elizabeth, Margaret and Maud. He is the oldest of the six children. He had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named John, Robert and Isabel.-
