Mary Catherine Shaver 
Mary Catherine was born on February 18th, 1822 in Walton, Kanawha County, Virginia. Mary Catherine's father was John David Shaver and her mother was Mary Parsons. Her paternal grandparents were Paul Shaver and Catherine Riffle. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Paul, John D., Henry S., Henderson, Angnus, Susannah, Sarah Jane and Sidney. She had five half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Edward, Perry G., Frank, Benjamin Franklin, Samuel L., Malinda, Agnes, Martha, Margaret Lydia and Louisa. She died at the age of 66 on July 23rd, 1888.-
