Richard Walter Knappenberger 
Richard Walter was born on January 18th, 1878 in Pennsylvania. Richard Walter's father was Thomas Henry Knappenberger and his mother was Leanda Hauser. His paternal grandparents were Johan Philip Jr. Knappenberger and Anna Schmoyer. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named Percival Jeremiah, Thomas Henry, Witt Clinton, Victor Theodore, Franklin Henry, William Harrison, Harvey Edgar, Edward, Eliza June, Amelia Louisa, Ida Andora and Mary Alice. He was the second youngest of the thirteen children. He died at the age of 89 on May 7th, 1967.-
