Harrison Knappenberger 
Harrison was born on December 19th, 1823 in Lower Macungie Township,Northampton (later Lehigh County), Pennsylvania. Harrison's father was Johan Philip Jr. Knappenberger and his mother was Anna Schmoyer. His paternal grandparents were Johan Philip Knappenberger and Gertrude Jarrett; his maternal grandparents were Daniel Schmoyer and Catherine Albright. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John Joseph, Thomas Henry, Charles Francis, Eli Jeremias, Catherine Clarissa, Amelia, Caroline, Anna Angeline and Ellen Jane. He was the oldest of the ten children. He died at the age of 33 on July 16th, 1857.-
