Rawlin Amasa was born on November 22nd, 1878 in Utica, Illinois. Rawlin Amasa's father was Joseph Kinzer and his mother was Emma Crosiar. His maternal grandparents were Amasa Owen Crosiar and Lovina Brown. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Ernest Ray, Ward Ledrue, Dean Joseph, Lawrence Marshall, Jesse Elizabeth, Ethel Lovina, Lura Olive and Verna Emma. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 77 on September 30th, 1956 in Bismarck, North Dakota. He was buried in Bismarck, Burleigh County, North Dakota.-
