Isabella de Clare of was born about 1170 in Gloucester, England.  Isabella de Clare of's father was Wiliam FitzRobert of Gloucester and her mother was Margaret de Paganel de Beaumont.  Her paternal grandparents were Robert the Consul de Meullent de Caen and Amica FitzHammon; her maternal grandparents were Robert II Bossu de Beaumont and Amice de Waer de Gael of Montfort. She had a brother and two sisters, named Robert FitzWilliam of, Mabel of and Amicia FitzRobert of. She had two half-brothers and a half-sister, named Roger IV, Roger IV de Conches and Alice.  She died on October 14th, 1217.  She was buried in 1217 in Canterbury Cathedral, Canterbury, Kent, England.
