Alice was born in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England.  Alice's father was Roger III de Berkeley and her mother was Margaret de Paganel de Beaumont.  Her paternal grandfather was Roger II de Berkeley; her maternal grandparents were Robert II Bossu de Beaumont and Amice de Waer de Gael of Montfort. She had a brother named Roger IV. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Roger IV de Conches, Robert FitzWilliam of, Mabel of, Isabella de Clare of and Amicia FitzRobert of.  She died in Berkeley Castle, Gloucestershire, England.  She was buried in Abbey of St. Augustine in Bristol,Gloucestershire, England.


Alice's family with Maurice the Make Peace FitzRobert

‌Alice and Maurice the Make Peace were married in a religious ceremony in 1154.  They had three sons and a daughter, named Robert FitzHarding, Thomas the Observer FitzHarding, William and Maud FitzHarding.
