Marared Drwyndon verch Llywelyn was born before 1240 in Wales.  Marared Drwyndon verch Llywelyn's father was Llywelyn Fawr the Great ap Iowerth of Wales and her mother was Tanglwy Goch verch Llywarch of Rhos.  Her paternal grandparents were Iorwerth Drwyndwn ap Owain Gwynedd and Marared verch Madoc of Powys; her maternal grandparents were Llywarch Goch ap Iorwerth and Tanglwyst verch Llywarch. She had a brother and two sisters, named Gruffydd ap Llywelyn, Gwenllian verch Llywelyn and Gwladys Ddu verch Llywelyn. She had eight half-brothers and six half-sisters, named Dafydd II ap Llywelyn, Tegwared-y-Bais Wen ap Llywelyn, Howel ap Ednyfed, Iowerth ap Ednyfed, Kendrig ap Ednyfed, Llewelyn ap Ednyfed, Rhys ap Ednyfed, Tudor ap Ednyfed Fychan of, Elen (Helena) verch Llywelyn, Angharad verch Llywelyn, Margaret verch Llywelyn, Helen (Elen) verch Llywelyn of North, Angharad verch Ednyfed and Gwenllian verch Ednyfed Fychan of.  She died in 1263.  She was buried in Aconbury Church, Hereford, England.
