William Butcher

William was born on September 13th, 1798. William's father was Balthasar Butcher and his mother was Elizabeth Bush. His paternal grandparents were George Valentin Metzger Butcher and Maria Elizabeth Keifer. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named George J., John Anderson, Gasper, Valentine J., Solomon, Henry, Jacob, Nicholas, Sarah, Girl, Elizabeth and Mary Ann. He is the second youngest of the thirteen children.
