Jacob Butcher

Jacob was born on November 17th, 1796. Jacob's father was Balthasar Butcher and his mother was Elizabeth Bush. His paternal grandparents were George Valentin Metzger Butcher and Maria Elizabeth Keifer. He had eight brothers and four sisters, named George J., John Anderson, Gasper, Valentine J., Solomon, Henry, William, Nicholas, Sarah, Girl, Elizabeth and Mary Ann. He is the third youngest of the thirteen children.
