Lazarus was born on May 1st, 1790 in Columbia Co., PA. Lazarus' father was James Lowry and his mother was Ruth Peterson. His paternal grandparents were Alexander Lowry and Mary Waters. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Robert, William, Francis, James, Alexander, Ruth, Rebecca and Margaret. He died at the age of 62 on October 19th, 1852 in Marshall Co., Indiana.-
