James Lowry 
James was born on March 10th, 1816 in Jefferson Co., OH. James' father was Lazarus Lowry and his mother was Elizabeth Sweek. His paternal grandparents were James Lowry and Ruth Peterson. He had a brother and two sisters, named John, Diana and Ruth. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Francis, Hugh Adams, William, Samuel, Robert, David, Elizabeth, Matilda Jane, Margaret Ellen and Rebecca Ruth. He died at the age of 84 on January 22nd, 1901.-
