Hugh Adams Lowry 
Hugh Adams was born on February 24th, 1826 in Hancock Co., OH. Hugh Adams' father was Lazarus Lowry and his mother was Susan Williams. His paternal grandparents were James Lowry and Ruth Peterson. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Francis, William, Samuel, Robert, David, Elizabeth, Matilda Jane, Margaret Ellen and Rebecca Ruth. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, James, Diana and Ruth. He died at the age of 51 on June 2nd, 1877 in Osceola, Iowa.-
