John Lowry 
John was born on October 30th, 1813 in Jefferson Co., OH. John's father was Lazarus Lowry and his mother was Elizabeth Sweek. His paternal grandparents were James Lowry and Ruth Peterson. He had a brother and two sisters, named James, Diana and Ruth. He had six half-brothers and four half-sisters, named Francis, Hugh Adams, William, Samuel, Robert, David, Elizabeth, Matilda Jane, Margaret Ellen and Rebecca Ruth. He died at the age of 85 on April 26th, 1899.-
