Margaret Ellen was born on March 30th, 1836 in Hancock Co., OH. Margaret Ellen's father was Lazarus Lowry and her mother was Susan Williams. Her paternal grandparents were James Lowry and Ruth Peterson. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Francis, Hugh Adams, William, Samuel, Robert, David, Elizabeth, Matilda Jane and Rebecca Ruth. She had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, James, Diana and Ruth. She died at the age of 80 in 1916 in Coldwater, Michigan.-
