Samuel Lowry 
Samuel was born on January 20th, 1842 in Hancock Co., OH. Samuel's father was Lazarus Lowry and his mother was Susan Williams. His paternal grandparents were James Lowry and Ruth Peterson. He had five brothers and four sisters, named Francis, Hugh Adams, William, Robert, David, Elizabeth, Matilda Jane, Margaret Ellen and Rebecca Ruth. He had two half-brothers and two half-sisters, named John, James, Diana and Ruth. He died at the age of 36 on August 24th, 1878 in Bronson, Michigan.-
