Mariah Gatten

Mariah was born on February 17th, 1849 in Richland Co., Ohio. Mariah's father was Isaac Gatten and her mother is Mehettable Mariah Carpenter. Her paternal grandparents were William Benjamin Gatten and Sarah Murphy. She had eight brothers and three sisters, named John, Cyrus, Aaron, Isaac Jr, Asa, Jeremiah, David, Madison Welsh, Rhoda W., Caroline and Mary Ann. She is the third youngest of the twelve children.
