Verlinda was born on October 5th, 1832 in Shelby,IN. Verlinda's father was Leo Hardy Worland and her mother was Margaret Valentine Louden. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Worland and Verlinda Hardy; her maternal grandparents were David Louden and UNKNOWN Susan. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named John David, Thomas Louden, William Leo, Vincent Oliver, Simon Brute, Celestine Hollandiere, Robert Purcel, James Gregory, Susannah and Margaret Ann. She was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 28 on May 16th, 1861 in Shelby,IN.General Notes
