Sarah Ann was born on July 19th, 1883 in Brandywine Township,Shelby,IN. Sarah Ann's father was Charles Lewis Wilkinson and her mother was Louisiana BASSETT. Her paternal grandfather was David Wilkinson; her maternal grandparents were Jeremiah O. BASSETT and Martha Emily Young. She had three brothers and four sisters, named David, Jeremiah M., Jacob B., Margaret, Eva E., Anda and Ossie. She was the third youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 79 on December 29th, 1962.-
