Ossie was born on July 8th, 1890 in Johnson,IN. Ossie's father was Charles Lewis Wilkinson and her mother was Louisiana BASSETT. Her paternal grandfather was David Wilkinson; her maternal grandparents were Jeremiah O. BASSETT and Martha Emily Young. She had three brothers and four sisters, named David, Jeremiah M., Jacob B., Margaret, Eva E., Sarah Ann and Anda. She was the youngest of the eight children. She died at the age of 82 on July 14th, 1972.General Notes
