David Wilkinson 
David was born on July 22nd, 1868 in Brandywine Township,Shelby,IN. David's father was Charles Lewis Wilkinson and his mother was Louisiana BASSETT. His paternal grandfather was David Wilkinson; his maternal grandparents were Jeremiah O. BASSETT and Martha Emily Young. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Jeremiah M., Jacob B., Margaret, Eva E., Sarah Ann, Anda and Ossie. He was the oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 74 on February 21st, 1943 in Shelbyville,Shelby,IN. He was buried in Forest Hill Cemetery.-
