Elizabeth's father was Calvin Kinsley and her mother was UNKNOWN Elizabeth. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Allison, Apollos, Calvin, Alma, Aurelia, Clarissa, Emily, Harriet and Sarah Jane. She died in 1830.
Elizabeth and James S. were married in a religious ceremony on June 15th, 1823 in ,Shelby County,IN. They had a son and a daughter, named William and Martha Emily.

William was born on April 10th, 1822 in IN. He died at the age of 51 on June 13th, 1873 in Shelby,IN. He was buried in Winchester Cemetery.
