Sarah Jane Shields

Sarah Jane was born on January 12th, 1841. Sarah Jane's father was John Shields and her mother was Esther Black. Her maternal grandparents were James Black and Abigail A. R. Taylor. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert James, Hugh Paul, Archibald Campbell, John William, Martha Ann, Elizabeth Frances, Nancy Taylor and Susan Millen. She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
