Martha Ann Shields

Martha Ann was born on April 26th, 1838. Martha Ann's father was John Shields and her mother was Esther Black. Her maternal grandparents were James Black and Abigail A. R. Taylor. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert James, Hugh Paul, Archibald Campbell, John William, Sarah Jane, Elizabeth Frances, Nancy Taylor and Susan Millen. She was the third oldest of the nine children.
