Mary Alice was born on July 16th, 1864 in ,Shelby,IN. Mary Alice's father was Hamilton MORRIS and her mother was Nancy Dorcas McCABE. Her paternal grandparents were William Godfrey Morris and Nancy Young. She had five brothers and four sisters, named William Thomas, Edwin Ruthven, Oliver Perry, Charles O., Francis Marion, Amanda Jane, Melissa Ellen, Priscilla Wheeler and Didamia Rusher. She was the fifth youngest of the ten children. She died at the age of 85 on August 30th, 1949 in Odd Fellows Home,Greensburg,IN.-
