History of Shelby County, 1887 lists her birthplace as Breckinridge County, KY though Clark County, KY seems more likely. Had 11 children. Living in Breckinridge County, KY in 1820 (census)
1830 Shelby County census --- Nancy Morris (1 female 30-39; 2 males 15-19; 1 female 10-14). We know William G. Morris wasn't dead; perhaps he was in Kentucky at the time of the census. Nancy was 42; Robert, Jesse, and James were old enough to be out of the house; the unnamed child probably had died; William G. and John Y. were 17 and 16 respectively; Polly Ann, the only girl, was 5. This doesn't account for Mercer, Benjamin, and Joseph (perhaps with father?). She was probably pregnant with Hamilton during the census.
