Matilda was born in 1805 in ,Clark County,KY. Matilda's father was James Young and her mother was Mary Guyn. Her maternal grandparents were Robert Guyn and Jane Raburn. She had four brothers and four sisters, named Robert, John M., James S., George Washington, Nancy, Mary, Martha J. and Eliza. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 60 on October 8th, 1865 in Nulltown,Fayette County,IN.General Notes
