Joseph Morris 
Joseph was born on July 1st, 1827 in Shelby,IN. Joseph's father was William Godfrey Morris and his mother was Nancy Young. His paternal grandparents were William Morris and Sarah Godfrey; his maternal grandparents were James Young and Mary Guyn. He had eight brothers and a sister, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Robert Gwinn, Jesse, James W., William Godfrey, John Young, Mercer, Benjamin, Hamilton, Polly Ann and UNKNOWN. He was the second youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 17 on May 8th, 1845 in Shelby,IN. He was buried in Morris Cemetery.-
