Polly Ann was born on January 4th, 1825 in Shelby,IN. Polly Ann's father was William Godfrey Morris and her mother was Nancy Young. Her paternal grandparents were William Morris and Sarah Godfrey; her maternal grandparents were James Young and Mary Guyn. She had nine brothers, and also a sibling of unknown gender named Robert Gwinn, Jesse, James W., William Godfrey, John Young, Mercer, Benjamin, Joseph, Hamilton and UNKNOWN. She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 21 on April 4th, 1846 in Shelby,IN. She was buried in Morris Cemetary,Shelby County,IN.-
