Francis Marion was born on August 3rd, 1874 in Shelby,IN. Francis Marion's father was Hamilton MORRIS and his mother was Nancy Dorcas McCABE. His paternal grandparents were William Godfrey Morris and Nancy Young. He had four brothers and five sisters, named William Thomas, Edwin Ruthven, Oliver Perry, Charles O., Amanda Jane, Melissa Ellen, Priscilla Wheeler, Mary Alice and Didamia Rusher. He was the youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 43 on December 27th, 1917 in Shelby,IN.-
