William Black 
William was born about 1734 in ,,VA.1 William's father was Alexander Black. He had a brother and five sisters, named Alexander, Margaret, Nancy, Rachel, Mary and Elizabeth. He died on February 14th, 1811 in ,,KY.1 General Notes
In 1792 William and Sarah Black moved their family to Kentucky, launching down Deckers Creek, down the Ohio to what is now Maysville, Kentucky, and then overland to Clark County. He bought 106 acres and qualified for 1000 more which was situated in the northern part of what is now Nelson County, Kentucky. He died in January or early February 1811 in Clark County, Kentucky .
‌William and Sarah were married in a religious ceremony on January 12th, 1763. They had four sons and four daughters, named Alexander, George, William, Robert, Margaret, Ginney, Rachel and Nancy.
