Rachel Black

Rachel was born on February 3rd, 1782.¹   Rachel's father was William Black and her mother was Sarah Hicklin.  Her paternal grandfather was Alexander Black; her maternal grandfather was Thomas Hicklin. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, George, William, Robert, Margaret, Ginney and Nancy.  She was the third youngest of the eight children.
