Margaret Black

Margaret was born on March 4th, 1768.¹   Margaret's father was William Black and her mother was Sarah Hicklin.  Her paternal grandfather was Alexander Black; her maternal grandfather was Thomas Hicklin. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, George, William, Robert, Ginney, Rachel and Nancy.  She was the second oldest of the eight children.

They had two sons named Elijah and George.
