Nancy Black

Nancy was born on December 1st, 1789.¹   Nancy's father was William Black and her mother was Sarah Hicklin.  Her paternal grandfather was Alexander Black; her maternal grandfather was Thomas Hicklin. She had four brothers and three sisters, named Alexander, George, William, Robert, Margaret, Ginney and Rachel.  She was the youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 69 in 1858.¹ 

‌Nancy and Robert were married in a religious ceremony on February 20th, 1806 in ,Clark,KY.
