Nymphus Bassett

Nymphus was born in 1821 in OH. Nymphus' father was Nymphas Bassett and his mother was Thankful Bruce. His paternal grandparents were Rufus Bassett and Jedidah Handy. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Bernard Handy, Jonah Bruce, Sylvester, Samuel, Jeremiah O., Oliver Clemens, Rufus, Olive and Hannah. He was the fifth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 59 on July 10th, 1880.

‌Nymphus and Louisa Jane were married in a religious ceremony on July 10th, 1850 in Shelby,IN. They had two sons and three daughters, named Wilbur, Milton, Sarah, Susan and Delila.
