Cecil Shields 
Cecil was born on April 29th, 1890 in Monroe County, Indiana. Cecil's father was David Francis Shields and her mother was Phoebe Jane "Jennie" Stephens. Her paternal grandparents were David Thomas Shields and Sarah Frances Mize. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Leco Ernest, Raymond M., Lester H., Goldie A. and Roxie. She was the oldest of the six children.-
