Lavinia Eckert 
Lavinia was born in 1847 in Paradise Twp., Lancaster Co., PA. Lavinia's father was George Lewis Eckert and her mother was Sarah Jane Slaymaker. Her maternal grandparents were John, Jr. Slaymaker and Jeannett McIlvaine. She had five brothers and three sisters, named George H., Howard, Nathaniel, Albert, Charles Whitfield, Mary Jane, Susan C. and Elizabeth. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 36 in 1883.General Notes
