Marthe Ogier

Marthe was born on February 26th, 1764 in The parish of St Sampson on the Isle of Guernsey, Channel Islands and her baptism took place on February 26th, 1764 in The parish church of St. Sampson.^1 2   Her godfather was Daniel Flere and her godmother was Judith Flere (daughter of Jean).  Marthe's father was Pierre Ogier and her mother was Judith Flere.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas des Landesm Ogier and Marquerite Nant. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Pierre, Jean, William, Daniel, Judith, Ester and Catherine.  She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.
