Daniel Ogier

Daniel was born on April 5th, 1772 in The parish of St Sampson on the Isle of Guernsey, Channel Islands and his baptism took place on April 5th, 1772 in The parish church of St. Sampson.^1 2   His godfather was Jean Ogier and his godmother was Catherine Ogier.  Daniel's father was Pierre Ogier and his mother was Judith Flere.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas des Landesm Ogier and Marquerite Nant. He had four brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Pierre, Jean, William, Judith, Ester, Catherine and Marthe.  He was the youngest of the nine children.
