Ester Ogier

Ester was born on September 22nd, 1761 in The parish of St Sampson on the Isle of Guernsey, Channel Islands and her baptism took place on September 22nd, 1761 in The parish church of St. Sampson.^1 2   Her godfather was Jean Flere and her godmother was Ester Flere (his wife).  Ester's father was Pierre Ogier and her mother was Judith Flere.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas des Landesm Ogier and Marquerite Nant. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Pierre, Jean, William, Daniel, Judith, Catherine and Marthe.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
