Judith Ogier

Judith was born on July 9th, 1756 in The parish of St Sampson on the Isle of Guernsey, Channel Islands and her baptism took place on July 9th, 1756 in The parish church of St. Sampson.^1 2   Her godfathers were Nicholas Flere & Mauson Badue and her godmother was Marthe le Patourel (his wife).  Judith's father was Pierre Ogier and her mother was Judith Flere.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas des Landesm Ogier and Marquerite Nant. She had five brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Pierre, Jean, William, Daniel, Ester, Catherine and Marthe.  She was the second oldest of the nine children.
