Thomas Wolfendale 
Thomas was born in 1837 in Salford.1 Thomas' father was Thomas Wolfendale and his mother was Ann Allen. His maternal grandparents were Thomas Allen and Jane. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, Charles, Margaret, Amelia and Mary. He was the oldest of the six known children.
