James Whalley

James was born on August 20th, 1836 in Rainford and his baptism took place there on September 18th, 1836.¹

Birth Notes

James' father was Thomas Whalley and his mother was Alice Heyes. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Whalley and Ellen Fyles; his maternal grandparents were James Heyes and Catherine Birch. He had a brother and three sisters, named Thomas, Catherine, Ellen and Alice. He was the third oldest of the five known children. He died at the age of 65 in 1901.
