James Tattersall

James' father was William Tattersall and his mother was Ann (NZ) Mather.  His maternal grandparents were Samuel Mather and Alice Owen. He had six brothers and a sister, named William, Lawrence, Ralph, Lawrence, Lawrence, Joseph and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the eight known children.  He died at the age of 76 on October 13th, 1914 in New Zealand.²
