William was born about 1880.

Birth Notes

William's father was Joseph R Stocks and his mother was Minnie Ellen Foulk. His paternal grandparents were George (Homer) W Stocks and Miriam (Myram) E Epworth. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Archie, George, Walter, Samuel, Clarence, Joseph, Stella, Bertha, Goldie and Gladdis. He was the third oldest of the eleven children.
