George was born on May 20th, 1879.1   George's father was Joseph R Stocks and his mother was Minnie Ellen Foulk.  His paternal grandparents were George (Homer) W Stocks and Miriam (Myram) E Epworth. He had six brothers and four sisters, named Archie, William, Walter, Samuel, Clarence, Joseph, Stella, Bertha, Goldie and Gladdis.  He was the second oldest of the eleven children.  He died at the age of 27 on April 28th, 1907 in Illinois (IL).  He was buried in Illinois (IL).1
