Salomey Stocks (Salomey Waite)

Salomey was born in 1795 in Almondbury. Salomey's father was Samuel Stocks and her mother was Sally (Sarah) Brook. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Stocks and Elizabeth Perkin. She had three brothers and six sisters, named James, George, Samuel, Molly, Ruth, Martha, Sarah, Ellen and Elizabeth. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 31 on November 23rd, 1826 in Leeds. Her burial was on November 29th, 1826 in Almondbury.¹¹

- Salomey Waite when died. She married John Waite, 25 Aug 1817.
  
  Salomey is probably a dreivation of Salome. There appears to be no baptism for this family between 1794-1804.
