Ann Scowcroft

Ann was born in 1839 in Holcombe.¹

Ann's father was James Scowcroft and her mother was Alice Mather. Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Mather and Ann Entwistle. She had six brothers and a sister, named William, Thomas, William, James, John, James and Mary. She was the oldest of the eight children.
