Birth Notes

Fred's father was Frederick Thomas Parkinson and his mother was Eliza Ann Mather. His maternal grandparents were Robert Mather (Cunliffe) and Alice Heaton. He had three brothers and four sisters, named James, Robert, Thomas, Sarah, Ethel, Lily and Hilda. He was the second youngest of the eight children.
