Joseph Oxton

Joseph was born in December 1895 in West Derby.¹

Joseph's father was Joseph Oxton and his mother was Elizabeth Mary Hope. His paternal grandparents were Joseph Oxton and Mary Lewis. He had three brothers and two sisters, named George, Wallace, John, Lilian and Florence. He was the second oldest of the six children.
